Why I have been absent

Hello Everyone - I hope you all are well and keeping safe.

I know it has been a long while since I have written or posted anything or has often has I use too.

Why or what has happened, last year I witness a traumatic event when a immediately family member got seriously ill and was took into hospital. I've never been apart for long periods of time from this family member before. I thank God every day that this family member is still with us..

I've been trying to recover from what I had witness. I went thorough what felt like hell at times, these past 13 months and I believe I am nearly past the worse of it.  I have always been a carer for this family member, but since June last year this has gone up a notch or too.

In my darkest hours of this time I re found my faith and I feel more calmer in my life and compete.  I have and I guess I am also still, finding my way and learning the new me. While mourning the old ways of life.

So now you know why I haven't been about much...

Thank you for stopping by and Thank you for you're loyalty if you are a returning follower.

Until next time stay safe.

Blessings

Revamp (part2)

Since my last post back in November I have been a rather Busybee.. Laugh out loud!!!

So back in October, I wrote about how I had started doing the landing and hallway... I had been painting it in between work.

Then December came and I knew that month I was going to be so busy, so I stopped. Don't worry I was by the stairs at that point so it did not look to messy. About the last week in January I started painting again, up the stairs along the landing. The only things that it needs is new carpet (which I'm not sure when that will be) and those gorgeous black frames.

After that I started in my brothers room, he wanted his room to be light and refreshing. Instead of the main red wall and three cream walls... He wanted all to be cream!

So now its February this week that just gone I had off. One thing for sure normally when I have a week off work, the things I have plan to do never happens. But I was not going to let that happen no way hose hey. I had decided to FINALLY get my room done... Oh my goodness I can not believe how much new rubbish (stuff) I have..  I seriously did not know how much craft stuff I have. But that's for another blog.

Once I had removed the stuff from my room I started painting. My room was the same colour as the landing that lilac. Plus my main wall was and is pink. I have gone white too, I do have a small bit left to do behind my television and wardrobe. Which I think I will do some time this week if I feel up to it that is....

Getting sorted before Christmas!

Like I think I have said before - where the hell as this year gone too? I really don't believe it's like less than five weeks to go. I have not even started, but that's for another blog!

So this time of year like every one else I am normally thinking about or have started sorting the living room out for the tree(s) to go up.

The last couple of years I have had a craft cupboard down in the living room!

I know it looks a tad messy.  Also yes there is a Blue Snail on top he's called Luke..

Those couple of years I have been moving my craft cupboard upstairs in to my room until the décos are down! #SadTimes

This year is just the same as last. But first I needed to get a move on with sorting out the tubs in the cupboard, before moving it upstairs.

I am not like most crafters any more. I use to keep every single piece of paper.  I now sort out every couple of months and get rid of the un wanted paper.

Now I have sorted my cupboard out. It is now up stair's, I would take a picture but I have pressys on top that are waiting to be wrapped!

The Re-Vamp

I have come to a nature stop with the decluttering... So now I am turning my attention to revamping the house.. I mean give it a lick of paint fresh it up. Put life back into this place...

I know its going to be a long and slow revamp... That's not going to be done in a flash... But I will get there, I know!!!

The first part - The hallway and landing!

When we first moved in over ten years ago. The walls in the hallway and landing was a weird colour combo bottom part a weird mix pink and the top was blue... So the first week we painted it lilac...

So July time this year I wanted to start redecorating... Mum decided on the colour, which I agree with...

She decided WHITE! I'm in the middle paint the hallway and landing white..... I'm going to re frame the pictures in black frames!

I will write soon how I get on....

Been a while!

I know it's been a while since I last did a post.  My little plan did not go to plan. . . . I think I just got on with it.

I have now stopped, just having a rest before the next bit - which is the loft!  Which I am kind of not looking forward too.. But on the other hand I'm looking forward to it! I think you will get what I'm getting at!

While I was decluttering I sent car after car load of stuff for the charity shop. Tell you the true I can not tell you how many car loads I took... But I felt like at one point I was living there.. The two charity shops I pick was Sue Ryder and Weldmar...

There is just one of the car loads!

I didn't just live at my local charity shops, I also lived at my local recycling centre. With box's after box's of paper and card and other recyclable items.

The picture above is just some of the box's I took.

Please bare with me now as I'm in sure when I will start the next bit this year! I might do some more in the house before going up in the loft, who knows we'll see what happens..

Day 1 - Just before Christmas

My first decluttering session happen just before Christmas, two week before!

I actually found it quite easy to get rid, it mainly was paper and card board. With a bit if chairty shop stuff, which held onto until after Christmas.  So I took thirteen bag's (yep I know it seems a lot thirteen) went up to the local recycling....

Aren't people are weird! Don't mean it in a bad way, but I found while I was up the recycling place.. People just looked and stared or watch! Maybe they are just very sad and have no life!

Anyway enough about that for now......
